How to curate your perfect Autumn wardrobe. 

Autumn is just around the corner so its time to back up back up your summer dresses and get out your Autumn essentials. Autumn is one of my favourite times of year in terms of fashion. So I’ve curated my list of autumn essentials, and some style predictions. 



1. Mini Uggs and Ultra Mini Uggs 

Ugg’s made a comeback near the end of last year and this is a trend I predict will continue throughout this autumn season. For many reasons but mainly because they go with everything and they feel like your wearing a pair of slippers. 


2. Oversized Blazers

Blazers are the perfect transitional piece for when its too cold to not wear a jacket but not yet cold enough to bring our the fur coat. Blazers also seem to never go out of fashion and you can always fine a vintage blazers on depop or in a vintage store. Zara also have endless blazer choices in stock and you can take a look at my previous blog which features the perfect blazer by djerf Avenue. 


3. Loafers

This have been growing in popularity throughout summer. With a viral tiktok sound of Emma chamberlains everyday summer outfit having some responsibility for the rise in populsrity. These shoes are perfect for transitioning into autumn. 


4. Neutral seamless basics


This is a practical one to help build your core wardrobe. While skims would be ideal, they are difficult to get a hold off as they are in high demand. However many more affordable brands have launched similar styles. Tala’s 365 collection will be my go to for Autumn. 


5. Trench Coats. 

Although the list could go on, ill end it here with another staple piece - a good trench coat. Although finding one is easier said than done and while I have purchased my fair share throughout the years I am yet to find the perfect fit and material without spending a small fortune on a Burberry trench.

Love Island 2022 Post Villa beauty and fashion couplings  It’s been over a month now since we have tuned into Love Island 2022 however we haven’t stopped keeping up with every aspect of the Islanders life’s post villa. Every year there is the anticipation of what brands will couple up with which contestant, history has shown that the islanders who make it to the final usually land the biggest deals. The most notorious being Molly- Mae’s collaboration to creative director of PrettyLittleThing and Millie Courts ongoing collaboration with ASOS where she had previously worked at as a Buyer’s Assistant before winning the show.  This year the show’s fashion partner was Ebay, dropping the usual fast fashion partner I Saw It First and obtaining for a more sustainable option. The change followed backlash from viewers critiquing the fact that the show was encouraging a disposable attitude to fashion.
